Skin....

One of the most important things I try to emphasize with my clients is how important it is to take care of your skin. "With great power comes great responsibility..." Thanks Uncle Ben, I'll take it from here.

First thing first... a makeup remover are two SEPARATE THINGS! Yes they can be combined in the same product like a 2in1 shampoo/conditioner. HOWEVER... you must remove your makeup to actually be able to cleanse your face. Otherwise it's like trying to do dishes with just water.... we all know how that goes... not very well. It does bot matter how tired you are, how drunk you are, or how much you DON'T care..... this is crucial in keeping the integrity of your skin.

Moisturize..... If I had a dime for every time some one said that their skin was oily and they never moisturize.... I would probaby have $1000 or be a thousandaire if you will (pinkies up b****es). Your skin needs moisturize! Think of all of the harsh things that we put our face through.... sun exposure, heat, cool, hands on the face (we all do it and if you say you don't you're a bod faced liar), etc.... What happens to your skin is it gets confused and tries to over compensate (this is assuming you wash it and do nothing else with it IE stripping the natural oils) and inevitably produces more oil. I am not saying you have to lather your face up with vaseline (NEVER EVER EVER EVER DO THIS... EVEN IF THERE'S A FIRE).... but look into some kind of gel moisturizer and help a sister (your skin) out. Or talk to an esthetian about it.

what happens at the end of the day when we are responsible adults and take off our makeup and cleanse our face? Usually sleep, I mean unless you're vampire... or some other sort of mythical creature... What happens to or body when we sleep? Everything regenerates... organs, mind, body, soul, etc. Our skin is actually are largest organ, did you now that? This is why it is so important to moisturize at night as well. For example, if you were to wear an oil controlling primer... your skin gets confused and wants to "balance itself out." We don't want that so we need to replenish what we took out during the day. Everyone wants to wake up to birds chirping and small woodland creatures ready to assemble and take on the days chores right? If you take care of your skin this will happen!

DISCLAIMER: THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN UNLESS YOU HAVE SOMEHOW MANAGED SOME KIND OF SORCERY OR ARE IN FACT A FOREST WITCH

WATER!!! As I have hopefully scared you straight into taking care of your skin (that was 100% my goal... really I believe in aggressive encouragement), you

now know how to take care of the outside.... but what about the inside.... WATER!!! You will not even believe the results you see from drinking enough water every day. Your skin will literally (metaphorically) morph back into baby smooth and soft skin. Not the rash kind or cradle cap like.

Take care or your skin to give yourself a better makeup application, a better complexion, and all around better chance at life.

Thanks Dolls!
